It's Never Enough
I was just informed today that filming will commence until December! Fulp wants me to do numerous takes on every scene so that way when Post-Production begins the animation people can work on shit that may NEVER MAKE IT INTO THE FINAL PRODUCT. I just hate wasting time. I also learned to a large degree that interns are no different that a SLAVE! They work for free and are vituperated against in similar ways. They bring me coffee and call me Lord Nick so they are ok in my book (lol). I started just giving them designations instead of calling them by name. It's mostly numbers or words that describe their most distinguishable physical feature. #4 is my favorite because she brings me coffee every morning and knows exactly how I like it. "3 day old Pizza" is lazy and should be fired from the project and is almost on his way out the door. But I digress, I am tired and have to start again at 6:30am.

Day 1
I was introduced to the interns today and filming has officially commenced. The first thing I am filming is all of the action scenes! There are five main action scenes involving hand to hand combat and one car chase scene. Fulp hired martial artists and gymnasts for these scenes and these fucking guys know how to MOVE! I can't give away too many plot details, but, I am very excited for a certain character called "Shin" who is actually a borrowed character from a different story I wrote. He will be the favorite I predict and make people stand up and cheer! I filmed from 8am until 5pm and then Tom's wife cooked me, him, and Stamper dinner at which point I was informed if I fell below schedule I would be terminated without a second chance.
Basically we are filming "motion capture" meaning all of the actors are in front of a chroma key and wearing motion capture suits, similar to how they film video game cut scenes. Once filming is done, Stamper and Mindy will draw over what I filmed and I will animate and edit accordingly into the final project to hit select theaters in Q4 2011. However I am worried about numerous things such as the musical score and the voice acting! This faggot Tom and I hired to to do the score knows music as well as any member of Nickelback! I have been working very closely with him but I am fearful of what he comes up with. As far as the voice acting is concerned it's me, Fulp, Fulp's Wife, Stamper, and Mindy. That will make or break this movie so it HAS TO BE PERFECT! The key to keeping this budget down is hiring interns and keeping the voice actors not apart of any form of acting guild. I will report more tomorrow.

Day -1
It's quite sad as I sit here looking at my apartment as I am about to leave for what I hope will be my future career. I'm leaving for Philadelphia and will be there until around Christmas of 2011 or maybe even longer since our intended release date is 12/25/11 for SFC. But intended release dates sometimes don't happen.
I remember the first day I moved in here, I was with the women I loved and my Father had actually left a town he rarely leaves to help us move in. At the time I was working as a manager for a company I cannot mention since they forced me to sign a confidentiality agreement... so I will refer to it as Pizza Hut just to be safe. Pizza Hut was ok in the beginning, but then the years of working food service management began to eat away at my soul. For a billion dollar company, they don't pay their employees SHIT! I worked for a four store franchise for Buffalo Wild Wings and I made $12.50 an hour as a SHIFT MANAGER! Pizza Hut only starts around $9.50 for shift managers. The last position I held was "Assistant General Manager" which I was promised a salary of $32,500 and ended up getting $28,500 and also they neglected to tell me I was going to get blamed for shit that occurred at that location before I ever worked there! Every day I would show, I would get blamed and screamed at for something new. My General Manager used to also use me as a scapegoat to the big boss just to take attention off him. So this, in turn, got me a "Performance Improvement Plan" for absolutely no reason.
Needless to say, it was time for a change. So I confided in a few friends and they all mutually agreed that working for Pizza Hut was bad for my mental health. That was when I called my friend Stamper and told him my situation and he had me call Mr. Fulp and inform him of my situation. Coincidentally, Fulp had desired to make a feature length animated film for a long time but only wanted to act as Producer. We talked for a long time about it, and I think he is still unsure of my talents. He enjoyed the SFC script and Stamper of course put in his good word for me so he agreed to let me do this project. Immediately, he put me on the NG payroll so I would have a source of income, but this came with a stipulation... I had to WORK on the PROJECT. Which meant he wanted numerous drafts, me seeking out someone to do the musical score, and find and locate an artist (since, at the time Stamper wanted to no part of the project... but I'll get into that later). So as long as I turned in new drafts, wrote complex character biographies, proved that I talked to people, I would get a more than generous weekly allowance.
So That's what I pretty much did from the end of July until today (technically last week). As I type this, I am about to head out to the airport and hopefully begin what will hopefully be a rather entertaining animated film. Sorry that this post was boring, I had a time constraint and I promised someone I would do this blog. Thanks for reading.
